OMG! Umno goes wild with sex, sex, sex: Now, Hadi accused of scandal with 'VIRGIN GIRL'

PAS has filed a defamation suit against deputy minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mashitah Ibrahim over an article she wrote accusing PAS president Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang of being involved in a sex scandal.

Hadi's political secretary Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar filed the suit at the Kuala Lumpur High Court this morning, naming Mashitah and Malay daily Sinar Harian as the first and second defendant respectively.

Ahmad Samsuri described Mashitah's claim as extremely defamatory.

"Prior to this we requested Mashitah and Sinar Harian for an open apology, but they failed to do so and hence the legal action," he added, accompanied by counsels Mazwan Johar and Nasar Khan.

"Virgin girl"

On March 2, Mashitah, in her article "Skandal seks, krisis politik Pakatan", linked the khalwat accusation against PKR Supreme Council member Badrolamin Baharon earlier this year to what she called a "moral crisis" among Pakatan Rakyat leaders.

After lambasting PKR's Anwar Ibrahim and PAS deputy president Mohamad Sabu, Mashitah claimed that Hadi had been involved in a sex scandal with a "virgin girl" 10 years earlier.

"He is said to have taken her as his third wife," wrote the politician.

In February, officers from the Pahang Islamic Affairs Department said they found Badrolamin committing khalwat (being alone in a room with an opposite sex without family ties) in a Kuantan hotel, where he had been attending a PKR retreat.

Badrolamin has strongly denied the allegation, saying he was merely helping the woman, whom he claimed to be a victim of domestic violence.
