Abraham the father of all people who follow the Abrahamic faiths was a man who found favour with the Lord.
The Jews, Christians and Muslims are people of Abrahamic faiths.
Ever since that time other great Abraham's have come and gone, there was Abraham Lincoln who fought and abolished slavery in the United States, a great president of America.
Abraham de Moivre was a French mathematician famous for de Moivere's formula, which links complex numbers and trigonometry, and for his work on the normal distribution and probability theory.
Then there is Selman Abraham Waksman, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in recognition "for his discovery of "streptomycin," the first antibiotic active against tuberculosis."
Abraham Flexner (November 13, 1866, – September 21, 1959) was an educator in America . His report published in 1910 called the Flexner Report, reformed education in medicine in the United States. He played a key role in the establishment of the Institute of Advanced Study in Princeton.
There is Abraham Gezner the man who invented Kerosine.
Not forgetting Abrham Maslow, famous for the Maslow Hierarchy of Needs,very commonly used in the late sixties and to seventies in Management classes that dealt with human behaviour.
There is Abrahamovic the famous owner of the Chelsea football club on whose alter many a football manager was sacrificed, the latest be Robert De Matteo, and the earliest being Jose Mourinho.
If one searches the web you'll see so many Abraham's the list is really countless, so many famous and respected gentlemen, accomplished individuals who have given this name the honour it so deserves.
Abraham or Ibrahim is the same name, Abraham being Anglicised and Ibrahim or Ibraheem in Arabic,. Abraham is taken from the Hebrew name Avraham meaning, Av - אב, father, Ram - רם, high, supreme
So in a way he is the big father and that is why the Jews and Christians refer to him as Father Abraham.
Held in high esteem amongst the Saints and prophets of old Abraham found favour with the Lord, I will not go any further as it may be in conflict with the teachings of each of the Abrahamic faiths.
So the name Abraham is yes a name of honour and people who carry that name have to be aware of it and should strive not to bring that name into disrepute.
Back home in Malaysia we have of course Ibrahim Ali, my, my what a contrast of all the Abrahams I have just mentioned, I hope he reads this passage.
There is yet another Abraham who is alleged to be the author of an unsolicited Statutory Declaration made for the Private Investigator Bala involved in the Altantuya case, which he was forced to sign by persons already revealed by Deepak. Are these mere allegations or are these allegations true, the public need to knwo as it may affect the sanctity of the office of the Prime Minister.
The question is why is everybody so quiet about revealing Abraham, now this Abraham may also go down in history as the author of a famous statutory declaration that will be recognized as one of the causes for the fall of UMNO.
Whilst Abraham Lincoln's famous Gettysburg address still remains famous, I am wondering how long in History will the second statutory document of PI Bala remain a historical document, it should be apiece preserved for posterity, after all it's history.
Now will the real Abraham involved in this case, this issue of having drafted the second statutory document, please stand up!! we are told he is a lawyer.
The police on the other hand can get this lawyer to reveal himself, if they really investigate, but in all issues regarding the Altantuya case the Police have remained silent, save to arrest some officers from their own force who have been found guilty of the murder of Altantuya Shaaribu although no motive fr them to kill Altantuya has been established,and it is regarding this case that the statutory document was authored and now the people need to knwo the person who authored it.
Is there a plan to set these convicted policemen free because they are not the only killers, are there others involved, Deepak talks about not being able to rest because of the Ghost of Altantuya Shaaribu.
So will this Abraham please stand up and tell us more.
