Exactly what did Khalid tell or DID NOT tell the Sultan? Did MB breach his duty?

Exactly what did Khalid tell or DID NOT tell the Sultan? Did MB breach his duty?
In response to widespread calls for him to quit as MB of Selangor, Khalid Ibrahim now claims that HRH the Sultan of Selangor had asked him not to 'not to make any decision/announcement' until his return on August 27.
This is the latest explanation offered by Khalid for not resigning despite losing the confidence of the majority of the assembly. On August 14, 30 assemblymen out of the 56- member assembly had withdrawn support from Khalid.
Whilst the Sultan's wishes must be respected, we ask of Khalid whether he had communicated to the monarch the following:
- that on August 14 he had lost the confidence of the majority of members of the state assembly.
- that he is ready to tender his resignation as required by Article 53(6) of the state constitution.
Khalid was constitutionally duty-bound to communicate the above to the Sultan. Did he do so?
