JELEBU - Certain quarters who harped on the issue of Sabah seceding from Malaysia are among those who were once badly defeated in the general election.
Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan said they were rejected by the people in the Sabah, who did not accept their politics of wanting to split the country.
“Even if there are problems from the perspective of the federal and state government, we can discuss (about them) and not instigate the people. “I cannot accept it. I hope the police will continue to investigate the matter, especially those instigating from outside the country and take action against them,” he told reporters after officiating the Jelebu Umno division Wanita, Pemuda and Puteri delegates meeting here today.
Abdul Rahman, who is also Umno supreme council member, said the people in Sabah should sit down for discussion if there were any problems with the federal government. - Bernama
