First Dr M says we are STUPID, now we are ROWDY

First Dr M says we are STUPID, now we are ROWDY
On the road we witness rage. On the political circuit we see ‘samseng’ (bully thuggish) behavior especially at rallies and ballot centers or in front of civil society leaders' homes.
Now on the football pitch too we are running amok.
When someone someone outside the country criticizes, we declare that we are above criticisms. We scream “look at your own backyard”.
When certain citizens criticise we are quick to scream that race rights and religious sentiments or some people's position are being questioned and therefore punish we must. And the police swing into almost immediate action.
As for the menacing mat rempits on the roads they instead praised and even collaborated with or given sympathy.

We cannot take losing a game. We cannot imagine losing power and control. We cannot be losing privileges. We cannot, cannot, cannot this and that.
And if we do lose we feel threatened. We must fight back. We attack.
The Malaysian fan attack on Vietnamese on our Malaysian soil cannot be undone with an apology Mr Honorable Youth Minsiter KJ!! It is a manifestation of what has been going wrong for a long time in the country.
We have been witnessing social rot and yet did not have the strength to admit. And because we could not accept losses, we refused to admit. And because we did not admit, the rot continues, fermenting in many areas of life - be it social, political, economic or environment.
Today if we are witnessing such ‘samseng’ behavior on the football pitch, it is no surprise. After all have not our politicians been employing it all these past thirty years and especially in the past two General Elections?
Look at the way they shout and scream at each other even in parliament. If we can shout and threaten our own citizens with demeaning words like “pendatang” , “balik negeri” , “penhianat”, and many more other expletives let alone vulgarity in body language, what is there to be surprised at Malaysian fans attacking innocent foreign fans in a football pitch?
How long more can we as a nation survive, let alone progress, in the eyes of our neighboring citizens with such behavior? Already every country around us says we have a track record for abusing, taking advantage of and ill treating immigrant labor in the country.
The arithmatic is quite simple. Do not consider the "isolated incidents" of abuse reported. Just take into account the tens of thousands who came into the country with legal papers and ended up with agents swindling them of their renewals.
The ball has been kicked into the centre of the nation’s leadership pitch. So Mr Honorable Prime Minister are you going to treat this football attack incident with your trademark silence or slam those who invite national discussion out of serious concern with a sedition act handcuff? -MAIL BAG
