LESSON FOR TWO-TIMING PM: Despite Sedition U-turn, Umno wolves are circling for the 'kill'

LESSON FOR TWO-TIMING PM: Despite Sedition U-turn, Umno wolves are circling for the 'kill'
‘This kind of mutiny usually does not happen in Umno.’
Sali Tambap: An Umno division leader lodged a police report against the prime minister’s brainchild, 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB)? This kind of mutiny usually does not happen in Umno, which more often than not would follow their leader blindly.
But perhaps, there is something more sinister brewing in there. Perhaps a crack begins to appear in the Umno edifice.
Perhaps the more intelligent members have begun to question the viability of their future and that the majority in the country have seen Umno for what it is - corrupt and unable to govern efficiently.
And therefore the party has lost popular support. And it is time to jump ship.
Cleaning-up: Three cheers to Batu Kawan Umno vice-chief Khairuddin Abu Hassan. At last, someone in Umno is brave, sane, sensible enough, and dares to take action.
Sirach: In truth, this wannabe hero is just regurgitating what parliamentarians Rafizi Ramli and Tony Pua uncovered after tirelessly digging into the affairs of 1MDB.
So, let's give credit where it's justly due, and not let some Johnny-come-lately ‘sapi dapat nama’ (take the credit).
That said, it's encouraging to see the Umno Baru-types waking up and calling for accountability into the opaque operations of this company.
The wolves are circling, so 1MDB chairperson and the board members had better be prepared to face the music, unless they know how to dance with wolves.
Pardon my ignorance, but shouldn't Bank Negara already be investigating the monies parked in the Caymans and enlighten the rakyat, or are they waiting to pick up the pieces after the implosion, if one occurs?
After the co-op, forex, and Genneva gold scandals, to name three, they must have learned to investigate such issues at the faintest whiff of stench, although in this case, with over RM40 billion allegedly borrowed, the smell is already overpowering.
Ferdtan: Strike one from a small state division leader. The ball will definitely start to roll.
1MBD, a folly of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, may spell the end of the 1Malaysia PM. With the momentum initiated, the question is who among the higher-positioned Umno leader would dare to come forth to bell the cat?
Will one of the elected Umno supreme council members come forward to second it? And will Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin be the third?
Like they say, ‘three strikes, you are out.’ Umno is imploding.
Mac Mac: The mutiny in Umno has begun. My salute for the bravery of Khairuddin. ‘Berani lawan boss’ (He has the courage to go against his boss).
Balachan Cili: PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police), charge Khairuddin with sedition. He is tarnishing the name of our great leader, and this can cause trouble in this country.
Gerard Lourdesamy: Let the police investigate or refer the matter to the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission). But the Umno responses here are typical. Kill the messenger but sweep the message under the carpet.
Why should taxpayers suffer the consequences of 1MDB going bust or needing further cash injections in the face of a weakening ringgit, falling oil prices and poor economic indicators simply to satiate the greed and lust of certain Umno politicians?
Frankly, the rakyat are just fed up. This government deserves to be thrown out. It is beyond repair and redemption.
Marde Parde: Congratulations, Khairuddin. You are a true Malaysian and I see your honest intentions to find the truth. PM or no PM, it is our money and we need to know.
The PM does not answer to opposition enquiry but he will have to respond to someone from Umno.
Anyone else from BN has the balls to support this gentleman. Anyone, please? Wake up. Your country is being robbed.
RCZ: It’s hard to say whether this is cheap publicity, whether he is Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s man, or whether he is genuinely asking this for the benefit of the rakyat and because he has some integrity. Only time will tell.
Lamborghini: Why is there such massive mismanagement and suspicious deals but no action on the part of Bank Negara and MACC and other agencies entrusted to protect the nation's wealth and rakyat's interest.
Why was there no query and no noise on this elephant in the room during the recent Umno assembly and now only want to make some noise?
Fair Play: Indeed, how ironic. One would have thought that Umno would explode due to increasing pressure from Pakatan Rakyat.
Instead, their era might end with a self-implosion of unimaginable magnitude.
Paper Lama: Khairuddin should be arrested for insulting the PM who has an excellent record in bringing down kangkung prices and buys chicken for RM1.
Khairuddin could be a Jewish agent. Isma and Perkasa should activate their emergency response to protect the PM. - M'kini
