Altantuya killer Sirul the DEADLY game-changer in Malaysian politics: Can Najib survive the 'revelations' made in Australia?

Altantuya killer Sirul the DEADLY game-changer in M'sian politics: Can Najib survive the 'revelations' made in Australia?
Convicted killer Sirul Azhar Umar, a former police VIP bodyguard sentenced to death for the murder of Altantuya Sharibuu was captured in Brisbane, Australia after an alert from Interpol, a few days ago and placed in detention.
A day later Wisma Putra reported that Australian authorities have released Sirul, but have withheld his passport and he is under strict surveillance.
Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported a day later, that he has been placed in a maximum security cell at Villawood Detention Centre in Sydney.
This conflicting news certainly arouses suspicion, as an extradition order was issued by the Malaysian Government calling for his return to Malaysia. Australian officials however, would not comment on whether they had received an official Malaysian request for extradition.
A convicted felon gallivanting in Australia?
ABC News also reported that Sirul had been living with his 19-year-old son and another relative in Ipswich, west of Brisbane, for several months, after entering the country with a valid passport and tourist visa last year.
But how did a felon like Sirul managed to slip into Australia, and reside there for a couple of months since October, without the knowledge of the Australian authorities? How, did Sirul managed to regain possession of his passport, applied for a visa and flew to Australia without anyone raising an eyebrow? Does the Attorney General care to comment?
Doesn’t the Australian and Malaysian Immigration computer database have updated records of convicted felons to deter them from easy trans-crossing of borders? Was Sirul’s escape to Australia assisted by ‘backers’ who wanted to assure his safety and silence? Did his ‘backers’ have pre-knowledge of the death sentence that will be meted out by the Federal Court?
Rumbling with fear in the corridors of power
News of his detention has certainly ruffled a few feathers with some of the top elite residing in the corridors of power, shivering like jellyfish and shaking in their boots.
All of a sudden, Malaysians have taken a rejuvenated interest in the sensational case, after having given up all hope, that the real truth would emerge, following the death sentence imposed on the duo.
Australia’s refusal to return Sirul back to Malaysia has put the government in a very precarious position. Many believes that his detention would be a good move for his personal safety & protection, since he holds the key to the mysterious elimination of Altantuya whose cries from beyond, still demands justice.
Meanwhile, Sirul’s Malaysian lawyer Kamarul Hisham Kamaruddin said that he would apply to the Federal Court to have Sirul Azhar’s murder conviction reviewed and oppose a extradition request from Malaysia.
He also questioned why would [Sirul Azhar] murder the victim, and why key witnesses were never called by the prosecution during the original trial, fuelling speculation of political interference in the case. “It raises questions as to what really is going on”, he stressed.
Calling for Sirul to tell all
Since news of his resurfacing in Australia came to light, a Malaysian has announced that he is willing to buy Sirul a flight ticket to return to Malaysia, knowing full well that the long arms of the law would be waiting, as soon as he steps off the plane.
A Pas lawmaker also appealed to Sirul to spill the beans, and posted his handphone number, email and even his facebook account for Sirul to contact.
An NGO chief has tweeted to warn him that his backers have abandoned him, and suggested that he tell’s all, before the authorities shut him up for good.
A dire warning posted on facebook
Shuk Sz, a young man claiming to be the former police corporal’s son, posted a sinister warning on Facebook: “In all honesty, I am a son of Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar. To those who don’t know about his case, don’t just say what you like. Watch your mouth. If I talk to the press, Malaysia will fall. The PM will also fall.”
In another of his postings, Shuk Sz says Sirul was called to record a statement by the authorities. He says if the statement is publicised, Malaysia’s reputation will suffer. If there is any truth in the above facebook posting; Sirul may not be the only person privy to all these dark secrets?! The truth may already be known, waiting for the day to be revealed to the world, even if Sirul has sworn to take it to his grave.
Will the Australian authorities be privy to his dark secrets or has he already spilled the beans? What is stopping him from revealing it to the world? Is it because of loyalty, a sacred promise to someone important, or the fear for his life, his immediate family and to those whom he holds dear to?
What about his son? He seems to know a lot about the sordid affair, and has threatened to reveal all, if his father is not left alone!
Sirul’s revelation will be a game changer
The Sydney Morning Herald has reported an unnamed Australian Attorney-General’s Department spokesman as saying that Australia’s extradition legislation prohibits anyone from being sent back to another country for an offence punishable by death, unless that country pledged not to carry out a death sentence.
So now, that Sirul is practically safe in a maximum detention cell, on a very big island called Australia far far away from Malaysia, will he contemplate selling his story to the highest bidder? Doing so may save him from impending death, and probably make him a very rich man.
If he does so, the impact on our nation would be disastrous. Malaysia would be dragged through the mud, and there is a high chance and in all probability that the BN Government may fall like a pack of cards.
The expose’ will sour Malaysia’s reputation in the eyes of the world, as Sirul’s revelations would reveal the motive of the murder, and under whose instructions these elite Special Action Unit agents were acting upon?
Bringing final closure to Altantuya Murder Conspiracy
What we knew so far was that Altantuya was the translator for the Malaysian Government in Malaysia’s negotiations with DCNS for the purchase of submarines when Najib Abdul Razak was Defence Minister. Her insistence to claim a USD500K commission ultimately led to her demise, where she was shot twice, her body packed with C4 explosives and blown to smithereens.
Will the main characters in the murder conspiracy like Najib and Rosmah, Razak Baginda, DSP Musa Safri and their ilk be exposed and implicated?
The expose’ may bring final closure to the sad episode not only for Altantuya’s father and the people of Mongolia, who may be monitoring these events quietly, wondering how on earth, can Malaysians be that cruel as to blow up one of their kind, who may be pregnant with C4?
Weary Malaysians too would want all these shady culprits apprehended and brought to justice, so that they too can go back to their own ordinary lives.
A different twist to the conspiracy
Malaysia in turn could get a parliamentary sitting to abolish the death penalty, so that Sirul can be legally extradited to face sentence. But will our government go to that extent? Nope, that will be too bothersome, given that our government’s insistence that Malaysia is an Islamic country that has every intention to implement crude death sentences by stoning or beheadings someday.
But his story could also be sold to the biggest bidder, who may turn out to be the one that will tell him to zip his lips, hold his horses and play possum dead, so that the secret will go with him to his grave.
It is not impossible to enact a false flag operation with Sirul collapsing to a premature death, due to poor non halal western food, a heart attack or prostrate cancer, then given a new identity, passport and a new home somewhere in the southernmost tip of Argentina.
But the Ghost of Altantuya is on the prowl
With the widespread news coverage from Kuala Lumpur to Canberra on the Altantuya murder conspiracy followed by a death sentence, convicted fugitives on the run and found in the land of the Down Under, and the legitimacy of our government hanging by a thread, if the dark secret ever breaks out in the open; one can only deduce that it may be Altuntuya’s ghost on the prowl.
Her body may have been blown to bits, but her ghostly shadow is still perched eerily on Bukit Nanas looking down with wrath and anger, as to when this sorry episode is about to end?!
Some people say that the ghost of Altantuya has become more restless and vengeful. You could literally hear her tormenting cries, if you go up to Bukit Nenas on a windy night, cock your ears and listen hard enough. And her soul isn’t going to rest, until all her conspirators are brought to book!
Let’s hope that the strong, blinding white light won’t shine down on Altantuya, before she gets to complete her task and help free this nation from its demons. - MAILBAG
