Perkasa and Isma cowards when facing ‘BumiCinDia’ – Sir Wenger Khairy

When it comes to attacking the ordinary working class non-Malays, Perkasa and Isma certainly know how to open their mouths.
When it comes to denying poor non-Malays a chance to pursue affordable education, Perkasa will shoot its mouth off, claiming that their success in obtaining First Class Honours can somehow anger their Malay brethren.
You see, Perkasa and Isma have claimed themselves to be the champions of “race, religion and country”. Their version of championing means simply to deny others any opportunity, even though those opportunities do not at all affect any opportunities afforded to the Malay community.
These are the kind of situations which affect the Malay community as a whole because the loss of national wealth – whether it is true a bailout of a state-owned agency, losses in financial investment, plain fraud or even corruption – reflects first and foremost a loss of the resources to the Malay and Bumiputera community.
It is this loss, which has continued unabated over the last 30 years, that is the main reason why the economic power is not in the hands of the Malays!
The reason is that Perkasa and Isma are only daring when they attack the working class non-Malays. These are the people you see taking the busses, MRT, driving Protons and living modestly. When it comes to the super-connected non-Malays, the so-called “BumiCinDia” who have chauffeur-driven Mercedes, bodyguards, who live in gated communities and travel to Switzerland – these elites, Perkasa and Isma suffer from loss of confidence.
Take for example the case of KWAP’s investment in FGV. KWAP contributors are mostly Malay retirees. If the fund makes less money through its investments, the Malay retirees get less money and will have difficulty to retire with the escalating cost of living.
Right now, KWAP is holding over 233 million shares in FGV with a holding period loss of almost half-a-billion ringgit.
EPF and KWAP have been busy selling down their stakes for several months already, that seems to indicate unease with their investment.
Has Perkasa dared to question whether the CEO is doing a good job? Are they afraid they will upset Datuk Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah?
Already, there are bloggers revealing out of control spending in FGV but Perkasa and Isma dare not initiate investigation.
Or even the eminent Taek Jho Low and his involvement in 1Malaysia Development Berhad. Three CEOs in 3 years, RM2 billion loan yet to be paid, RM36 billion in loans outstanding and billions managed offshore by a guy called “Lobo Lee”.
So far Perkasa can only complain of non-Malay control of the economy in general. Here we have strong evidence of the involvement of non-Malays in actually causing a national financial crisis and all I can picture from Perkasa is the shrill sound of Prof Kamarudin Kachar shouting “Mat Sabu hingus belum kering!”
At least here, by the action of one brave soldier, Umno has demonstrated that it has the testicular fortitude to ask the tough question.
I will end by offering my apologies to the Perkasa man who was the ex-Election Commission chief. He seems to think that Perkasa can eventually be a political party. Till this day, no Perkasa member has stood and won in any election because given all the points above, the public’s opinion of Perkasa is that of a bunch of colourful, noisy and ineffective retirees!
