CHINESE ARE A 'CURSED' RACE: Malays must rise to wipe them out - Malay Twitter user
PETALING JAYA – MCA wants a Twitter user to be investigated for links to terrorist group Islamic State (IS) over his racist tweets calling for Malays to rise and launch a blood bath against the Chinese who he described as a “cursed” race.
Condemning the tweets by Wan Khairul Ihsan (@WanKhairulV) as racially and religiously “inflammatory”, Religious Harmony Bureau chairman Ti Lian Ker added, “one cannot help but link his twitter postings with images of IS’ evil of blood, torture and gore”.
Saying that his tweets were a threat to the national security and stability of the country, he cautioned, “This is a serious issue which must be quelled instantly and speedily bearing in mind the security, stability and harmony of our nation are under threat.”
He also urged the Inspector-General of Police to launch an immediate investigation into the case and to ascertain if Wan Khairul was an IS or Al-Qaeda operative or sympathiser.
In two February 3 tweets, Wan Khairul said, “Wahai laknat cina…Ini permulaan melayu bangkit untuk berperang dengan kamu…allahuakbar…Halal darah kamu cina!!!” (Oh cursed Chinese…The time has come for the Malays to rise to fight you… Allah is Great… to cleanse your Chinese blood!!!).
In his second tweet, he said, “Semua cina yang pegang Dato Ship sila pulangkan sbb Sultan tu Melayu. Mulakanlah 13 Mei terhadap cina..allahuakbar!!!” (To all the Chinese with Datukships from the Sultans, return your titles because the Sultans are Malays. Let’s start a May 13 riot against the Chinese… God is Great!!!).
Condemning the tweets, Ti said, “This vitriol is dangerous as it moots for racial and religious strife, openly exhorting Malays to assault the Chinese community and is nothing short of calling for a blood bath.”
He also said the tweets were disrespectful of the Malay Rulers who had bestowed “such awards and honours on individuals irrespective of race”.
He added, “If the Prevention of Terrorism Act had already been enacted, it is timely that it be used against the account holder.” - FMT
