Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar's latest tweet has revealed that a group was planning to 'cause chaos' in the country with explosives. – The Malaysian Insider pic, April 26, 2015.Police have foiled an attempt to "cause chaos" in the country with the arrest of 12 people and a seizure of explosives, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said today.
The 12 were arrested in the Ulu Langat area in Kuala Lumpur, and explosives were also seized in an operation led by the police's intelligence unit, Special Branch, the top cop said on Twitter.
"12 people in Ulu Langat/KL were planning to create chaos in the country. Explosives were seized," Khalid tweeted at his handle @KBAB51 today.
