The father of social activist Adam Adli Abdul Halim died early this morning from serious injuries following a motorcycle accident in Penanga, Penang last night.
Abdul Halim Abdul Hamid, 55, was in critical condition, and Adam had tweeted around 2am this morning that doctors would be operating his father in a final attempt to save him.
"Doctor has just gotten the go-ahead to operate on Dad. Last effort. Prayers," he posted on Twitter, but hours later, Adam informed of his father's passing.
Halim's remains will be buried in Kepala Batas after Friday prayers today.
