The portal had previously accused Umno Youth deputy chief Khairul Azwan Harun along with the wing's exco Arman Azha Abu Hanifah, Syamsul Baharin Putra Ahmad Shibi, Sheikh Ahmad Nafiq Sheikh A. Rahman and Barisan Nasional assistant youth secretary Datuk Mohamed Shafri Abd Aziz of inciting Johor Umno youth leaders to oppose Najib's leadership.
However, the report was denied by another exco member Ibdillah Ishak and Johor Umno youth chief Hahasrin Hashim.
The website also challenged the five to lodge a police report over the matter if they were to deny the accusations.
"Maybe the best way for the five to clear their names is lodge a police report so that an investigation can be carried out," mykmu.net said.
The website also urged the party's disciplinary board to investigate whether there was truth to claims made against the youth leaders.
"The claims that five Umno Youth leaders were in cahoots to topple Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak by inciting youth leaders from Johor, has to get the attention and action of the disciplinary board," it said.
In the report yesterday, Khairul Azwan was said to have the support of Sri Gading, Simpang Renggam and Pulai Umno Youth to remove Najib.
Najib is facing one of the crucial moments of his career as prime minister, especially after scathing attacks from former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who has been publicly criticising him over issues and scandals attached to his administration.
Among them are the1Malaysia Development Berhad scandal, the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu, and Najib and his family's lavish lifestyles as well as of how he is leading the country.
Although he has retired from politics, observers say that Dr Mahathir still had a strong hold over Umno, especially among the grassroots.
