Pieces of flesh have been sent to the hospital for post mortem.
JOHOR BARU: More pieces of flesh, believed to be that of an infant, were found by maintenance workers at a sewage plant at the Kempas Permai People’s Housing Project.
Johor police chief Rusli Ahmad said the body part and pieces of flesh were sent to a hospital for post mortem.
He said police were searching for other body parts of the infant, including the head.
“Three people have come forward to provide information, but they do not have the information we are looking for,” he told reporters here yesterday.
On Sunday, workers carrying out cleaning work at the sewage plant found 15 body parts of a newborn baby at 10.30am. The body parts were found stuck in garbage traps.
Rusli urged those with information to come forward to help police investigations.
