Sarawak polls in March, hints Adenan

Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem has hinted tonight that state polls may be in March 2016.
He told Sarawakians to be ready to vote for BN in three months' time.
"I have kept my word, In the polls three months from now, you will keep your word to me. You will fulfil your promise to give me five more years.
"And I want to find whether you will keep your promise in time to come. Together we keep our promises, thus will Sarawak be peaceful and prosperous."
The CM said this while addressing the crowd during the countdown to a toll-free Sarawak in 2016, at the Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Bridge in Kuching.
In his speech, Adenan repeated his admonishment on the interference of West Malaysia-based parties in the state, as well as the need to ensure proper infrastructure and safeguard the autonomy of Sarawak.
"Sarawakians know Sarawak better. We know how to manage our own country within Malaysia," he said, commenting on the peninsula-based parties like Umno, DAP, PKR and PAS who are trying to secure a foothold in his state.
Adenan also took a jibe at the protest against toll hikes at the Sungai Besi toll plaza in Kuala Lumpur which was also held tonight.
"In Sarawak we abolish tolls for the rakyat, not like what is happening in West Malaysia with the toll hike protest," he said.
Adenan also fulfilled his promise to abolish the tolls at the Tun Datuk Patinggi Abang Muhammad Salahuddin Bridge where the countdown is held, the Lanang Bridge in Sibu and the Asean Baram Bridge in Miri. -Mkini
