There are people who ask me whether I am neutral or whether I take sides. It is funny they never asked me that question before — such as in 1998 when I campaigned for Reformasi or in 2008 when I campaigned for Pakatan Rakyat, in particular for DAP all over Penang and Selangor.

Anyway, they will only ask you that question if they think you are not on their same side but if you are on their same side then your neutrality is not important and needs not be questioned. So maybe they should ask instead whether you are with them or against them and if you are not with them that means you are against them.

Actually, all this talk about neutrality is nonsense and only frauds would talk about it — or ask you whether you are neutral. For example, during World War II the Vatican was neutral. But they were neutral only because the Nazis left the church alone and because the Nazis whacked the Jews but not the Christians.

If the Nazis had killed six million Christians (because they were Christians and for no other reason), instead of six million Jews, then the Vatican would not have remained neutral. After all, the Jews killed Jesus so they sort of deserve what the Nazis did to them, was the argument being touted at that time. The fact that Jesus, too, was a Jew, did not enter the discussion.

The same went for the Swiss. They, too, remained neutral during World War II but then their neutrality was very profitable for them. The Nazis plundered Europe and hid all that money in Swiss bank accounts. Until today if you are a crook who has made your money the dishonest way then the safest would be to hide that money in a Swiss bank.

Yes, these are the same ‘neutral’ Swiss who work with drug cartels, war criminals and Jew killers to help hide their money but are investigating 1MDB.

In fact, in 1995, the World Jewish Congress (WJC) began negotiations with Swiss banks and the Swiss government on behalf of various Jewish organisations regarding dormant Jewish World War II bank accounts. What happened was that these Jews were murdered and the Swiss banks are still holding on to their money.

How much money are we talking about? No one knows because the Swiss banks are not talking. They would rather not say anything and continue to keep the money that they have been keeping for the last 75 years. But we do know that it is in the billions. And US$1 billion back then is worth US$60 billion today.

So now you know why the Swiss banks are so rich. And this is not yet taking into account the gold that the Nazis plundered and hid, which till today has not been discovered yet. It would be good if in the same spirit as 1MDB the Swiss can return all that stolen wealth. But then we are talking about gwailos, the people who buy all our timber and then condemn us for cutting down our trees. Have they not heard that there would be no sellers if there were no buyers?

Anyway, as I said, you cannot be neutral and those who say they are neutral or ask me whether I am neutral are frauds. Not a single person alive is neutral. Everyone takes sides.

If the government says that all Chinese schools would be closed down and mother-tongue education would be banned would you declare you are neutral and not get involved? Close also can, don’t close also can. You really do not care either way.

You will most likely start screaming about human rights and civil liberties and about respecting the Constitution and so on. You will never declare you are neutral and that you are not getting involved — and that close also can, don’t close also can, you really do not care either way.

If the government declares that religion cannot be forced upon anyone and in the spirit of human rights and civil liberties you are free to choose whether to believe in God or not and that Muslims are free to leave Islam, would you remain neutral and say that all 20 million Malays can leave Islam if they want to and you do not really care two hoots?

Are you neutral enough to agree that Hindu temples can only be built in communities that have at least a 30% Hindu population and in communities that have less than a 30% Hindu population temples will not be allowed and those already set up must be closed down?

Yes, whether you really remain neutral or whether you take sides depends on whether you are Chinese, Indian or Malay. You will remain neutral if it is of no interest or benefit to you. If not you will shed your neutrality and will scream human rights and civil liberties and start quoting the Constitution.

Those who live in the Kelang Valley would be outraged about the toll highways because the cost affects them. The Penans or Dayaks would be neutral on this matter and would not take sides mainly because the problem is in the Kelang Valley and not in their neighbourhood.

I can remain neutral about the refugee problem affecting millions as long as these millions of refugees remain on the Syrian-Turkish border. However, once the British government allows one million of them to come into Britain and thousands of them live in my neighbourhood, thus creating a huge social and crime problem and pushing the price of my house down, then my neutrality ends.

So, tell me again, are you neutral? If you say you are, then you are a fraud. As long as you believe in God and have a religion you are not neutral. You are extremely biased.
