KUALA TERENGGANU – A 22-year-old university student who invited her boyfriend to her rented house in Gong Badak, Kuala Nerus, was nabbed for khalwat.
The couple were caught after state Religious Affairs Department officials raided their house between 9pm and 1am yesterday.
“It took 20 minutes for the couple to open the door after we kept on knocking,” said State Religious Affairs Department commissioner Datuk Wan Mohd Wan Ibrahim.
In a separate raid, the officials detained another 22-year-old student with her 25-year-old boyfriend in a room at a rest house here.
