Islam Makes The Malays Weak

Confusing is it not? The Tunku was ousted because he was accused of neglecting the Malays and they triggered May 13 as the catalyst to oust him and now they say the Malaysian Malays are failures because the government gave them preferential treatment — if not the Malaysian Malays would be successful like the Singapore Malays.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
PAN a.k.a. Amanah leader Salahuddin Ayub praises the late Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew for making the Malays in Singapore successful while the Malays in Malaysia are failures (READ HERE).
This has been the standard DAP argument for 50 years. Singapore is better than Malaysia. The New Economic Policy (NEP) makes the Malays weak. Article 153 of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia is Apartheid and makes the Malays lazy. The Bumiputera policy is institutionalised racism. There should be no Bumiputera and non-Bumiputera classifications and all Malaysians must be treated equal. Meritocracy should prevail and racial quotas must be abolished.
Yes, there are many arguments regarding this matter and for half a century we have heard them all. In fact, Bapa Merdeka Tunku Abdul Rahman, the first Prime Minister, did not care too much about preferential treatment for the Malays and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad accused him of betraying the Malays and said that the 13th May 1969 race riots occurred because the Malays were being neglected and because the Tunku was seen as too friendly with the Chinese.
Salahuddin Ayub wants the Malaysian Malays to be successful like the Singapore Malays and he praises Lee Kuan Yew for that
Tunku Abdul Rahman was ousted because he was just like Lee Kuan Yew: stubborn, uncompromising and refusing to let go of their principles. In fact, the Tunku and Lee Kuan Yew were too much alike that they could not get along. As the Chinese say, you cannot have two tigers on the same mountain. And that was why Singapore and Malaysia separated — because both the Tunku and Lee Kuan Yew wanted to be the Top Dog and there can only be one Top Dog (as Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad himself said recently).
So Salahuddin and the rest of PAN and Pakatan Harapan need to make up their minds. Previously they said one thing and today they are saying the opposite. Should the NEP, Bumiputera preferential treatment and quotas, Article 153, UiTM, Mara, Felda, etc., be abolished so that 30 years from now or by 2050 the Malays in Malaysia can be as successful as the Malays in Singapore?
The Malays once owned an empire when they were Hindus and became weak when they became Muslims
There are about 20 million Malays in Malaysia and since the NEP started about five million Malays have benefited from a higher education. That represents 25% of the Malays. And if you include their dependents then it is going to be almost 100% because many children of farmers, fishermen and Felda land settlers have also been given a higher education, many up to university level as well.
The bad thing about educating the Malays is that there is now a shortage of labourers and an estimated three million foreign labour (50% said to be illegal) have had to come to Malaysia to take up the jobs the Malays no longer want to do. If you educate five million Malays then for sure you need to replace them with three million uneducated immigrants to do the jobs the educated Malays no longer want to do.
If we follow Salahuddin’s or Pakatan Harapan’s blueprint then five million Malays would not have received a higher or university education and then they could do all the work that immigrants are now doing. And we would not have Malays exploiting the NEP to become millionaires, like now, and only Chinese and Indians would be millionaires, like during the time of Tunku Abdul Rahman (which was why Mahathir wanted him ousted).
At the time of Merdeka, rural Malays did not wear western clothes but wore two pieces of cloth, one around the waist and another around the shoulders
Why not Pakatan Harapan make it clear what policy they are going to adopt once they come to power because it is getting very confusing? They say this, that and the other but they refuse to say what their policy is going to be. So we do not really know what they are planning to do.
Look at this video of Lee Kuan Yew’s speech on religion.

Actually that is the real problem, religion. So if Malaysia wants to be successful like Singapore (and if you want the Malaysian Malays to be successful like the Singapore Malays) we need to get rid of religion. Religion is the problem. And Lee Kuan Yew has made this very clear.
Singapore is a Secular State and Lee Kuan Yew never allowed Christianity or Islam to interfere with the running of the state. In fact, in Singapore you can even become an atheist if you want to. In Malaysia, Malays cannot even become Christians let alone become an atheist.
Lee Kuan Yew did not tolerate nonsense such as religion, which is why the Singapore Malays are great
If Salahuddin and Pakatan Harapan want the Malaysian Malays to become successful like the Singapore Malays, and if you say this is because of Lee Kuan Yew’s successful policy regarding the Malays, then Malays must be allowed to leave Islam and become atheists. It has been proven that some of the most successful and influential people in the world are atheists (or ‘closet’ atheists as even Lee Kuan Yew himself admits).
Salahuddin and Pakatan Harapan should call a spade and spade and not speak in cryptic language. The problem is because of the preferential treatment the Malays are given and the religion that binds them and shackles them (akidah means bind or shackle). Remove the preferential treatment and the shackles and see the Malaysian Malays become successful like the Singapore Malays.
In short, Salahuddin and Pakatan Harapan are propagating a Malaysian Malaysia and a Secular State, like Singapore, so that the Malays can be great.
