Sabah DAP has cried foul after discovering that 13 voters with different surnames appear to have the same address in Kota Kinabalu, after scouring through the fourth quarter supplementary voter list for 2017.
Luyang DAP coordinator Phoong Jin Zhe said the 13 were transferred from other constituencies to the Luyang constituency.
"I think is impossible to have twelve people staying in such a small house! It is also strange to see twelve different surnames to be registered in one address.
"There must be a political agenda behind it," said Phoong in a statement today.
Phoong said he visited the house owner and was told that she could not recognise any of the names listed.
He hoped that the authorities could explain the matter soon and that he and the house owner would file objections through the correct channels.
Phoong said Sabah DAP was also investigating other suspicious entries in the voter list.- Mkini
