CHERAS: Pakatan Harapan will call for another round of redelineation if it forms the government, says DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng (pic).
He said this was to ensure that the principle of "one person, one vote" is upheld.
"We have to do a redelineation so that we can have one person, one vote, one value," he said.
Lim said this in his speech when announcing DAP's candidates for Selangor.
He cited the Bangi parliamentary seat, which has around 178,000 registered voters, as one of the largest constituencies in the country.
"Dr Ong Kian Ming has to service 178,000 people. We wish him best of luck," Lim quipped.
Dr Ong is defending his Serdang parliamentary seat, which has been renamed Bangi after the redelineation.
The redelineation also saw a 78% increase in the Damansara (formerly known as Petaling Jaya Utara) electorate, where incumbent Tony Pua will stand for re-election.
